Katy S. Brimhall
Katy was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and attended Catholic institutions through high school. Upon graduation from Judge Memorial Catholic High School in 1999, she moved to Helena, Montana to attend Carroll College where she majored in English Literature, English Writing, with a concentration in Editing, and minored in Spanish. After graduating in 2003, Katy worked at the Montana Historical Society until winter 2006 when she joined the firm Doney Crowley Bloomquist Payne, P.C. as a legal secretary. She primarily assisted with land easement/disputes, estate planning, and probate law.
Katy found her way to Missoula in June, 2007 after Katy’s husband, Erin Brimhall, graduated from the Computer Science master’s program at the University of Montana - Missoula. Erin began work at GCS Research as a Senior Developer and Katy started at Datsopoulos, MacDonald & Lind, P.C. as a legal assistant. Katy aided in business, contract, personal injury, guardianship/conservatorship, and family law practice. Katy joined Thiel Law Office, PLLC in January 2010 and assists Matthew B. Thiel in all practice fields.
Katy enjoys being with her husband, friends, cat Oliver, and dog Gus. She regularly engages in Pilates, baking, reading, biking, and traveling activities.
